This stein is entirely made of raised-relief fine pewter. It will serve as a focal point of any collection. Three detailed panels vividly depict the official Bavarian Crest with a “Bayern” banner above it, the Neuschwanstein Castle to the left and a group of Bavarian dancers to the right. Below the three main panels is the famous Bavarian pledge and proclamation. The bottom band is a ring of 13 crests representing the most famous cities within Bavaria. Outlining the main panels and ring of crests are three raised relief gold hand painted bands of Bavarian diamonds. The symbol of Bavaria is a lion holding a shield of diamonds. This symbol is beautifully depicted on this stein as a pewter figurine. It is then plated in gold and is mounted on the thumblift. The flared base has alternating polished and antiqued bands, upon which is a banner with the engraved text “50 Jahre Freistaat Bayern”, translated to mean 50 years celebration of the free state of Bavaria. The embossed pewter lid has 4 tiered layers. Made by Westerwald Team of Germany. It is a limited edition of only 999 pieces worldwide!
